The institute is running two programmes funded by AICTE:
- Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)
- Industry Institution Partnership Cell (IIPC)
 Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and Industry Institution Partnership Cell (IIPC) are established at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) are being funded by AICTE. The Advisory Committees, as desired by AICTE, have been set up to advise and monitor the activities of the programmes.

Prof. Anil Wali, MD, Foundation for Innovation for Technology Transfer, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, who was the Chief Guest of the function. Mr. Abhishek Sinha, Co-founder & CEO, Eko India Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Ankur Agrawal, Head – Finance in Elements Akademia, who are upcoming entrepreneurs. Ms. Kalpana Sinha, the regional coordinator of National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), also addressed the student community asking them to take entrepreneurship as a platform to make life more meaningful and challenging.
Following activities were carried out during 2007-08:-
- Regional coordinator of NEN carried out orientation program for IInd & IIIrd year students of B.Tech and Ist Year of MBA students. Dr. Neeta Awasthy, HOD, Electronics & Communication Engineering completed the third module on Entrepreneurship Fundamentals – Concepts, Skills and Pedagogy from Mar 31st to April 2nd 2008 at IIM, Bangalore.
- Dr. Brajesh Gupta, Professor, MCA attended one day module workshop at Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi on 4th July 2008.
- Dr. D.K. Sharma, HOD-MBA attended one day module workshop at Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi on 4th July 2008.
