    Janmashtami Celebration

Janmashtami has a significance of its own. Lord Vishnu in a sacred book of ancient times named Bhagavad Gita says that whenever there will be any dominance of evil in the society and the decline of the religion, I will reincarnate in this world to kill and remove the evil and also to protect the good. The main significance of this festival lies in encouraging the goodwill and discouraging the bad will. Krishna Janmashtami is also celebrated for the togetherness. This holy festival brings all the people together. Hence Krishnashtami symbolises faith and unity. Here our civil department celebrates janmashtami festival on 22/08/19.

    Shaheed Diwas:

In India, there are five days declared as Martyrs' Day (at national level also known as Sarvodaya day). They are named in honor of those who are recognized as martyrs for the nation. Every year, on March 23, Martyr’s Day or Shaheed Diwas is observed in memory of three freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were hanged ll death on March 23, 1931, in Lahore jail by the colonial British. ACES Club organized a heartfelt homage for these warriors. Born on September 28, 1907 in Punjab in British India, Bhagat Singh is a well-known freedom fighter who was a revolutionary socialist and played a crucial role during the Indian freedom struggle. All faculty and students were present during the ceremony. HOD Mam also spoke a few words on the occasion and the sacrifice of the warriors. ‘Any sacrifice will be inadequate to accomplish the greatest aim of freeing the motherland’. Today is the day when these three great revolutionaries laid down their lives in their effort to achieve their goal ! Following the ideology of these warriors, we concluded the ceremony with the idea.
