With these words Fusion IT department of Galgotias College organised Janmashtami celebration

Our decor team did amazing job by decorating the palki of Lord Krishna and creating a beautiful scene by small diyas, lamps, balloons etc., they also made a beautiful rangoli which was acknowledged by everyone.

We started with the blessings of God by lighting the lamps & praying. The celebration of Janmashtmi was well borne and handled by our anchors Alaukik Chokhani & Swati Soni who took over crowd very well. Teachers Day

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा ग्रुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः । गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ॥

With these reminiscent lines we started the celebration of Teacher’s day on 5th sept to express our gratitude for our teachers. We welcomed the teachers of IT department by putting vermillion on their foreheads. Our HOD Sir Dr Sanjeev Kumar Singh who was titled “The Human Dynamo” started the program with these veracious lines that one book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world. With the beautiful decor which rejuvenated the whole arena, Anushka Rai of IT and Shubhi of CSE, wonderfully addressed the crowd. We were privileged by the presence of Deputy HOD Ma’am Dr Sandhya Katiyar, Vice President of Fusion IT Club Ms. Jasmine Bedi Khurana Ma’am, Vice President of Xtreme Club Inderpreet Ma’am and all other faculty members. We started our program by heart throbbing dance performance on retro songs like “khai ke paan Banaras wala” and a showstopper bhangra in which vice president of both the clubs danced energetically. This was the X-Factor of the whole event. To make everyone revisit the most beautiful era of their lives, a skit was performed on school days in which every type of teachers and students’ character were displayed, from one being very strict to the most lenient teachers, how we celebrate when teachers were absent, “butterflies in our stomach” experience before result and the most special part of the skit was background music which was very aptly used. We celebrated the 60 years of Bollywood music, started from ”pyar hua” to “allah ke bande” and many more mesmerising songs. On this pivotal day IT’s former general secretary Danish Irfan and Shubham Kumar, with present general secretary Sanjana Malhotra and Atmik Upadhyaya launched Fusion Club Annual Magazine "Ignite" and Newsletter “Glimpse” of session 2017-18. All teachers were gifted mementos and were given a title flaunting their personalities and traits. The program ended with the cutting of a delicious cake and thanking our teachers for their immeasurable affection and care.
