First Year Coordinator

Welcome to the newly admitted students of B Tech – First Year.

All the academic affairs of newly admitted students of B Tech – I Year remains with First Year Coordinator and from second year onwards, all the students move to their respective departments.

Here, the thrust is on sharing of experience with a peer group, to experiment with new approaches, ideas and new perspectives, with an objective of improving academic and overall performance of students. We communicate with students and share academic contents and information needed, very frequently. We look to develop analytical, practical and creative problem-solving strengths in our students, at the same time we encourage students to grow as effective individuals with strong set of ethics, communication skills and zeal to succeed.

Dr. Rajesh Tripathi is coordinating with the first year students and also with the faculties teaching in first year. He has a teaching experience of about 16 years and 04 years of Industrial and Research experience. He is actively involved in the planning, implementation and monitoring of affairs / issues related to academics and general administration of the organization. He is Ph.D. from IIT Delhi (research area – Solar thermal), M.Sc. from Jamia Millia Islamia (specialisation- Material Science) and B.Sc. from Delhi University (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths). He has published 11 research papers in International Journals of repute (SCI/Scopus indexed) and presented 09 research papers in international / national conferences. He has guided one research scholar for the award of Ph.D. degree. He has organised several FDPs/Seminars/Conferences and given guest lectures. In the year 2020, he has been presented with Best teacher award by AKTU, Lucknow.
