    Mentoring System

The main objective of mentoring is to help out each student in taking right decision for their academic and personal growth. In addition, mentoring will help boost students’ morale and improve their learning abilities.

Direct academic issues e.g. selection of electives can be easily communicated to the student. But other issues like career options or fear of a subject/course need greater involvement of the mentor. To improve the institute’s present endeavour towards academic quality up gradation, it has become necessary to redefine/reform the existing system. The new system, when practiced diligently will immensely contribute in improvement of the overall academic quality. The students will be greatly benefitted by continuous expert guidance.

      1. Each faculty will be the mentor of a group of 20 students.
      2. First year students will have mentors from the department of Applied Science and humanities and second, third, fourth year students will have mentors from the parent department.
