SAY NO TO RAGGING: Ragging is any disorderly conducct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudenss to any student, indulging in rowady or undisciplined activities which cause or likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect psyche of a fresher or a junior student.

PUNISHMENT FOR RAGGING: 1. Immediate FIR and Police Action 2. Imprisonment upto Two Years 3. Fine upto Rs.2.5 Lakhs 4. Ternination from College

Hence, Students are advised to refrain themselves from any such Criminal Act

Research and Project Funding Committee

    Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology has constituted Research and Project Funding Committee (RPFC) to create and update the general research capabilities of Students & Faculty members.

    The committee is headed by Dr. Praveen Kumar Maduri (Convener RPFC) and comprises of following faculty members:

    1. Dr. R. L. Yadava (Department of ECE)
    2. Dr. Asim Qadri (Department of ME)
    3. Dr. S. K. Verma (Department of MBA)
    4. Dr. Jaspreet Kaur (Department of EIE & ICE)
    5. Dr. S. K. Singh (Department of CSE)
    6. Dr. Vishnu Sharma (Department of IT)
    7. Dr. Ambikapathy (Department of EE & EEE)

    Applicants are invited from eligible students/faculty members for grant of funds from Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, for research/project work. The applications in prescribed format, (can be downloaded, please find the links at the end) duly completed in all respect, must be submitted to Convener of Research and Project Funding Committee in due course of time. This process will be regular and repeated on monthly basis. The schedule is as per follows:

    1. Submission of duly completed application forms (Till 7th of every month)
    2. Review of Application by Committee (Till 15th of every month)
    3. Presentation of eligible/identified projects (Till 21st of every month)
    4. Communication of decision for grant of funds (Till 25th of every month)

    Note: In case of holiday on prescribed date, forthcoming working day will be considered as due/last date.
