SAY NO TO RAGGING: Ragging is any disorderly conducct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudenss to any student, indulging in rowady or undisciplined activities which cause or likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect psyche of a fresher or a junior student.

PUNISHMENT FOR RAGGING: 1. Immediate FIR and Police Action 2. Imprisonment upto Two Years 3. Fine upto Rs.2.5 Lakhs 4. Ternination from College

Departmental ACES Club Society

The department also runs a student club called The Association of Civil Engineering Students (ACES) since 2017. The ACES Club was established for the students to strengthen Civil Engineering skills in them and to serve as a training ground to enhance their personal growth through social, career and academic-oriented activities and on-field knowledge practices.

The working approach of ACES is very lucid. It basically regroups the persons, with different ideologies, who have travelled a common path of civil engineering. Here in the club, members go through regular discussion over several topics, putting forward the ideas, comparing among each other and then concluding the best one for the students.

The objective of the ACES society is to spread technical awareness and social responsibility. Student members of ACES keep organizing various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and etc. for the students of the department.
