In celebration of World Rivers Day, the Civil Engineering Department of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology organized a vibrant poster-making competition aimed at raising awareness about river conservation. The event attracted over 50 enthusiastic participants from various branches, all showcasing their creativity and commitment to environmental sustainability. The theme for this year’s competition, “Rivers: Lifelines of Our Planet,” inspired students to express their understanding of the crucial role rivers play in our ecosystem.

Participants created thought-provoking and visually striking posters that conveyed messages about the importance of preserving our rivers and the biodiversity they support. Students from diverse disciplines came together, highlighting a strong spirit of collaboration and creativity.
