Dr. Rama Tyagi earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida, with a specialization in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry. She has more than 4.8 years of professional teaching experience and 4 years of dedicated research experience as a Ph.D. scholar. During her career, she has contributed as a Senior Research Fellow in a CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, project and has since advanced to her current role as Assistant Professor at Galgotias College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida. Dr. Tyagi has published over 20 research articles, book chapters, and reviews in reputed journals, focusing on natural products, phytochemistry, nanoniosome-based drug delivery, and network pharmacology approaches for complex diseases like diabetes, psoriasis, and diabetic retinopathy. Her expertise extends to the optimization of formulation processes, in vitro and ex vivo studies, and the application of molecular docking and simulation for mechanistic insights. She is particularly interested in exploring phytoconstituents from traditional medicinal plants and developing novel formulations that bridge Ayurveda with modern pharmaceutical science.
