Expertise


Dr. Shaheen Sultana completed her M. Pharm and received her Ph.D degree from the Jamia Hamdard in 2011. She worked on “Development and evaluation of alpha Keto Gluatarate and Biphosphonate inhalable nanoparticles as antidotes for inhaled toxic substances” as a part of PhD dissertation. She worked on INMAS DRDO funded projects during her M. Pharm and Ph.D. She awarded AICTE fellowship for the period of 2 years (2004-2006). She awarded meritorious scholarship by Jamia Hamdard for a period of one year (2005-2006). She awarded UGC meritorious scholarship for the period of 2 years (2008-2010) in her Ph.D. She worked as an assistant professor in Northern Border University, Rafha city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Taif University, Taif city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for almost 6.5 years. She awarded best faculty award in department of Pharmaceutics by Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia in 2016. She has published more than 40 papers in international journals. She has filed 6 patents and writes 2 book chapters. She has more than 12 years of experience in teaching and research. She has worked as a quality team member for NCAAA accreditation in Taif University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She has supervised 15 research projects as a part of M. Pharm and Pharm. D dissertation in India and Saudi Arabia. She worked as M. Pharm head in IIMT College of Pharmacy for almost 1.5 years (Sep 2022-Jan 2024).
