One Day Guest lecture on “innovations in solar energy technology and its impact on energy landscape” was conducted by EEE Dept. of GCET, Greater Noida in association. Innovations in solar energy technology have catalyzed a transformative shift in the global energy landscape, paving the way for a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. Advances in photovoltaic (PV) technology, energy storage, and smart grid systems have significantly enhanced the efficiency and affordability of solar power. Breakthroughs such as tandem solar cells, perovskite solar cells, and flexible solar panels have expanded the range of applications and improved energy conversion rates. The impact of these innovations extends beyond mere electricity generation, influencing the integration of renewable energy into existing infrastructures and facilitating decentralized energy production.
