Today marked a significant milestone as we welcomed our new first-year students to Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology with a comprehensive and engaging induction program.

The induction was designed to provide students with a thorough introduction to their new academic environment and set the stage for a successful journey ahead.

Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Bali, Director, commenced the day with an inspiring address, outlining the college’s mission and vision. He highlighted our institution’s remarkable achievements, both at the institutional and individual levels, and introduced key college functionaries. The session also covered student-centric policies and the various facilities available to support and enhance their academic experience.

Dr. Brijesh Singh, Dean Academics, delivered an insightful overview of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). He explained the academic rules, policies, and the structured academic system that will guide students through their coursework, ensuring they are well-prepared for their academic challenges.

Dr. Priya Srivastava, Head VE Cell, concluded the program with a session focused on counselling and human values. Her talk emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced and ethical approach throughout their academic journey, providing valuable advice for personal and professional development. Dr. Rajesh Tripathi, HoD - Applied Sciences, contributed significantly by guiding the students and coordinating the entire induction program. His engaging address provided valuable insights and his meticulous planning ensured a smooth and effective introduction for the new students.
