The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Allied specialized branches, Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida has conducted One-Week Short Term Course on “Data Science Using R” from 17th July to 21st July, 2023. The objective of the STC is to enhance awareness about data science mythologies, implementation of Data science models, business insight, tools, processes, machine learning techniques and techniques using R.

Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “ AI for Building Speech and Vision Application Using Python”

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has organized a Five Days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “ AI for Building Speech and Vision Application Using Python” from 21 ^st -25 ^th August 2023 in collaboration with Computer Society of India (CSI),Ghaziabad Chapter. The purpose of FDP is to create awareness among people about the importance of AI and acquiring knowledge in Speech Recognition and Computer Vision.

 Department of ECE organized a seminar on "Significance of IPR & strategies to protect your innovations" on 02 June, 2023 for  B.Tech. 2nd year ECE students. The guest speaker was Ms.  Reema Sahni Mediratta Patent Agent, RTTP, MHRD Innovation Ambassador, Incharge & Senior Project Manager, I-TTO, FIIT, IIT Delhi.
In today's fast-paced and competitive world, safeguarding your ideas and inventions has become more crucial than ever. Intellectual Property Rights play a pivotal role in ensuring that your innovative creations are protected, empowering you to maximize their potential and reap the benefits.
Some key topics discussed in the seminar were nature of intellectual property, benefits of IP to universities, patentee rights, patentability criteria, trademark and copyright.

2. MOU with “Aura International School of Management, France”

The Department of ECE in association with GNIX Society organized a seminar on "Benefits of Studying in France and About Aura-Lyon" on 14 June, 2023 by the distinguished speaker, Mr.  Darren HUNT, President- Aura International School of Management, France. The seminar highlighted the benefits of studying in France, internships offered by AISM, management and business courses that AISM offers and accommodation facilities.
Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology has also signed an MOU with  Aura International School of Management following that.

3. Workshop on "Embedded Artificial Intelligence"

It gives us immense pleasure to inform that Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with  STMicroelectronics &  DigiToad Technologies is organizing one week workshop on "Embedded Artificial Intelligence" from 17th July to 21st July 2023 for the students and faculties of ECE department. 
This hands-on workshop aims in exploring the intersection of AI and embedded systems, delving into how AI models can be deployed directly onto devices and edge computing platforms.
The workshop also aims at gaining a solid understanding of embedded AI principles and applications, learning how to develop and optimize AI models for resource-constrained devices and diving into real-world examples and case studies of successful embedded AI implementations.
