Vision
‘Improving lives through learning’. The department of Humanities plays a leading role in transforming and promoting the lives of our student’s success through lifelong learning by cultivating an environment of fellowship, inclusiveness, and respect. It acts as an authority in the discipline of designing and delivering content; and as a leader in articulating the value of content and the value of those who develop it. It embarks on interdisciplinary approaches to understand and improve the human condition by providing value-based education so that it can produce socially responsible citizens.
Mission
The comprehensive mission of ‘The department of Humanities’ is to unlock the communicative competence of the students thereby promoting the students to encounter the global challenges the industry and organization throws at them.
To equip the students in the art of conceptualizing, analyzing and comprehending concepts, theories and its applications through context based learning, discovery of novel concepts and arts and communication.
To motivate learners in the realization and actualization of his/her capabilities and their roles in contributing positively to society and for the larger institutional mission.
