Medical Health Camp- 5th February 2025

Galgotias College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with Apollo Hospital, Greater Noida, organized a Medical Health Camp aimed at providing essential healthcare services to students, faculty, and the local community. This initiative was part of the college’s commitment to promoting health awareness and ensuring accessibility to quality medical consultation.

 

Plantation Drive- 7th February, 2025

Galgotias College of Pharmacy organized a Plantation Drive on February 7, 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. The initiative aimed to promote ecological awareness, instill a sense of responsibility towards nature, and enhance the greenery on campus.

Health Camp- 20- 21th, February, 2025

Galgotias College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with Clove and Yatharth Hospital, successfully organized a two-day health camp on February 20th and 21st, 2025. The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to students, faculty members, and other staff and promote awareness about general health and well-being.  

Plantation Drive - 9th July, 2025

Galgotias College of Pharmacy organized a Plantation Drive on 9th July, 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. This event was organised in order to encourage plantation and spread awareness. All the students and many faculties took part with full enthusiasm. Different types of herbal plants were introduced.

Antibiotics in Our Daily Lives Hidden Risk of Overuse" on 20th September 2024

Galgotias College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida, organized a guest lecture on "Antibiotics in Our Daily Lives Hidden Risk of Overuse" on 20th September 2024. The session aimed to raise awareness about antibiotic overuse, its consequences, and responsible usage practices.

Medical Health Checkup Camp-24th September 2025

A Medical Health Checkup Camp was successfully organized at Galgotias College of Pharmacy, Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, on 24th September 2025 in association with Apollo Hospitals, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The camp aimed to promote health awareness among students, faculty, and staff, while providing access to basic health checkups and consultations.

World Pharmacist Day- 25th September, 2025

On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, Galgotias College of Pharmacy organized various events which include Poster Presentation on 25th September 2025 to celebrate the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare. The event aimed to spread awareness and enhance knowledge about the evolving responsibilities of pharmacists in promoting public health and ensuring patient safety.

Plantation Drive (“Ek Ped Maa ke Naam”)- 8th October 2025

A Plantation Drive was organized on 8th October 2025 at the Herbal Garden with the enthusiastic participation of B.Pharm 1st year students. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness, encourage green practices, and highlight the importance of medicinal and aromatic plants in health and well-being.

Music Competition SARGAM’25-10th October 2025

The Music Competition SARGAM’25 was successfully organized by Galgotias College of Pharmacy on 10th October 2025, with the objective of encouraging students to showcase their musical talent and to promote cultural activities among youth. The event was conducted from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and received an enthusiastic response from both participants and the audience.

Diwali Celebration- 16th October 2025

Diwali, the festival of lights, symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Galgotias College of Pharmacy joyfully celebrated this auspicious occasion on 16th October 2025. The college campus was beautifully adorned with lights and artistic decorations, creating a festive and vibrant atmosphere.

Breast Cancer Awareness Day-16th October 2025

Breast Cancer Awareness Day was organized by the Galgotias College of Pharmacy in the Block D Auditorium to educate and sensitize students and faculty about breast cancer, its prevention, early detection, and the importance of community awareness. The event aimed to empower participants with knowledge and motivate them to actively contribute toward spreading awareness in their communities.

World Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Day- 7th November 2025

Galgotias College of Pharmacy proudly celebrated World Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Day 2025 with the objective of creating awareness about the importance of intellectual property protection among students and faculty members. The event highlighted the role of IPR in fostering innovation, research, and entrepreneurship in the pharmaceutical and allied sciences.

 

2nd PHARMAINNOVATE SUMMIT 2025 – International Conference-22-23rd Nov 2025

The 2nd PHARMAINNOVATE SUMMIT GCOP 2025, an international two-day conference, was organized by Galgotias College of Pharmacy on November 22nd–23rd, 2025, in hybrid mode. The summit, themed “From Molecule to Medicine: Drug Development, Drug Delivery and Lifesaving Therapies,” brought together leading experts, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to explore cutting-edge advancements in pharmaceutical sciences. The hybrid platform significantly enhanced global participation, enabling researchers from various countries to network and exchange scientific insights seamlessly.

Health Camp- 18th December 2025

Galgotias College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida, organized a Health Check-up Camp in collaboration with Vedansh Surya Hospital on 18th December 2025. The camp was conducted with the objective of promoting health awareness and providing basic health screening services to the community. 

PHARMAINNOVATE GCOP SUMMIT 2024-16-17th Nov 2024

The PHARMAINNOVATE SUMMIT GCOP 2024, an international two-day conference, was successfully organized by Galgotias College of Pharmacy in collaboration with the African Journal of Biomedical Research. The event aimed to bring together pharmacy professionals, researchers, scientists, and pharmaceutical industry experts to discuss innovations in drug discovery and delivery for improved healthcare solutions

 

ILLUMINATION – A Diwali Fiesta - 25th October 2024

The Student Council of Galgotias College of Pharmacy (GCOP) organized a grand Diwali celebration, "ILLUMINATION – A Diwali Fiesta," on 25th October 2024 at the D-Block Auditorium. The event was a vibrant blend of culture, tradition, and entertainment, bringing together students and faculty for an unforgettable celebration.

Guest Lecture on “Clinical research development”– 25 September 2024

A guest lecture featuring experts Dr. Garima Srivastava from Artemis Hospital and Dr. Kausar Neyaz from Aabir Bio-Services Foundation was conducted on 25th September 2024. The speakers shared their expertise on clinical research, biotechnology, and the importance of translational medicine in modern healthcare.

Guest Lecture on 'Innovative Technologies on Drug Delivery' – 20 September 2024

An engaging lecture by Dr. Dimitrios A. Lamprou, Professor at Queen's University Belfast, was organized at Galgotias College of Pharmacy on 20th September 2024. The session focused on cutting-edge drug delivery systems and innovations in pharmaceutical sciences, inspiring students towards research and innovation.

Workshop: Advancing Analytical Techniques and Applications of HPTLC-MS- 13 September 2024

Galgotias College of Pharmacy organized a workshop on "Advancing Analytical Techniques and Applications of HPTLC-MS" in collaboration with Anchrome. About 457 researchers, faculty members and industrialists from around the globe participated in this workshop. Ms. Vaidehi Ambekar Application Chemist at India-specific HPTLC Application Research Lab, Anchrom Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. India, Mumbai, was the trainer for the workshop.

Event: Faculty Development Program (FDP) 2024- 15th July – 19th July 2024

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) 2024 was organized by Galgotias College of Pharmacy from 15th to 19th July 2024. The program aimed to enhance the knowledge, teaching methodologies, and research capabilities of faculty members in the pharmaceutical sector. The FDP provided a platform for experts from various institutions and industries to share insights into the latest advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.

Workshop: Instruments Used in Pharmacy and Research-3rd to 5th July 2024

A 3-day workshop on “Instruments Used in Pharmacy and Research” was successfully organized at Galgotias College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida, from 3rd to 5th July 2024. The primary objective of this workshop was to provide hands-on training and enhance the technical knowledge of participants regarding various analytical and research instruments used in pharmaceutical and scientific research.

Event: International Yoga Day 2024- 21st June 2024

International Yoga Day is celebrated worldwide on 21st June to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through the practice of yoga. This year, Galgotias College of Pharmacy celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, aligning with the 2024 theme, "Yoga for Self and Society," which emphasized the role of yoga in personal well-being and its contribution to a harmonious society.

Galgotias College of Pharmacy conducted an insightful guest lecture on 25th April 2024, focusing on professional development and advancements in the pharmaceutical field. The session aimed to bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications for budding pharmacists.

Guest Lecture on 'Importance of Human Values' – 19 April 2024

A guest lecture on 'Importance of Human Values' was organized at Galgotias College of Pharmacy. The session emphasized moral principles and the significance of values in personal and professional life, encouraging students to adopt ethical behavior and empathy in their daily actions.

Guest Lecture on 'Women Health and Awareness' - 14 December 2023

An invited lecture on 'Women Health and Awareness' was conducted on 14th December 2023 at Galgotias College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida. The session was delivered by Dr. Sonali Gupta, who enlightened students and faculty about various aspects of women’s health and the importance of maintaining awareness regarding preventive healthcare. The lecture encouraged open discussion and helped spread valuable information on women’s wellness.

 

Diwali celebration- 7th November 2023

Galgotias College of Pharmacy celebrated Diwali which decorated with full of lights, beautiful display of art and Art club has designed swastika rangoli on the lawn, decorated with flowers and light it with diyas.

On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, Galgotias College of Pharmacy organized a grand celebration on September 25, 2023. The celebration included various activities such as a poster presentation competition, a quiz competition, and a skit performance, all centered around the theme of " Pharmacist Strengthening Health System”- Angdan Mahadan.

Event: World Blood Donor Day-14th June, 2023

Blood Donor Day is an annual event celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and recognize the invaluable contributions of blood donors worldwide. The theme for Blood Donor Day 2023 was Give Blood, Save Lives. This theme aimed to emphasize the critical role of blood donation in saving lives and promoting the spirit of voluntary blood donation.

Guest Lecture on “PCOS Awareness & Its Homeopathic Treatment” – 04 May 2023

On 4th May 2023, Galgotias College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with Bakson Homeopathy Medical College and Multispeciality Hospital, Greater Noida, organized an insightful session on “PCOS Awareness & Its Homeopathic Treatment.”

Infosys Springboard Student Event- 20th April, 2023

An event was conducted for driving Campus Connect activities through Infosys Springboard, a session/roadshow for the students and faculty to demonstrate the Infosys Springboard platform and appraise them on the various Campus Connect interventions for a strong Industry-academia collaboration.

Guest Lecture on “World Tuberculosis Day” -21, March, 2023

Each year we commemorate World TB Day to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of tuberculosis (TB) and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic. The date marks the day in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced that he had discovered the bacterium that causes TB, which opened the way towards diagnosing and curing this disease.

Event: World Forestry Day-21 March, 2023

World Forestry Day has been marked to create awareness among the public about the importance of trees. Every year, the United Nations Forum on Forests and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) organize events on this day. The United Nations General Assembly recognized March 21 as World Forest Day in 2023.
