Dr. Md. Danish Equbal
Prof. & HoD Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.
Welcome to the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), where knowledge, innovation, and practical skills converge to shape future-ready engineers.
Our department emphasizes a dynamic teaching–learning process that blends strong theoretical foundations with extensive hands-on experience. The curriculum covers core domains including Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Network Theory, Electrical Measurements and Instrumentation, Analog & Digital Electronics, Signals & Systems, and Microprocessors & Microcontrollers. Hands-on exposure forms the backbone of our academic culture. Well-equipped laboratories—including Control Systems, Electrical Measurements and Instrumentation, Circuit Simulation, Digital Electronics, Network Analysis and Synthesis and Microprocessor Labs—provide students with opportunities to gain practical exposure and strengthen their conceptual clarity and technical competence.
To enhance industry readiness, we actively facilitate industrial visits, internships in core electrical industries and PSUs, interaction with industry experts and skill development workshops. These initiatives bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and professional practice while preparing students for a successful professional career.
Our experienced faculty members mentor students in academics, research, innovation, and career development. As a result, our graduates have secured placements in core electrical industries, Government organizations, public sector undertakings, and leading IT companies.
I warmly invite aspiring engineers to be a part of our vibrant academic community and get future- ready to build a sustainable and electrified career.
